Review: Messrs Maguires of Burgh Quay is one of the so-called super pubs. Inside it has three levels, although navigating around them is tough beacuase it's like a maze with stairs here there and everywhere. Finding the toilets is a task in itself. Apart from this it is a good pub which is very lively on the weekends with good tunes being played (loudly) over the speakers. Very popular with the mid-twenty to early thirty age group. The pints are expensive but it has it's own Micro-Brewery and serves beer which is made in house by their own master brewer. There is a choice of eight beers and if you're a stout drinker, a pint of 'Plain' is worth trying. Recommended for top-class beers and as a place to have some craic with friends.

- messers is great. whether its a quite drink during the day or a mad night on the tiles messers is the place to be. great location in the centre of the happenings on a weekend night. great music played at night. big plasma screens for the matches but the best thing, hands down about messers maguire is the food. great value and absolutely gorgeous!!!
- 3 or is it 4 bars in one. Multi-level bar each with different characters, although the bar s in the same location on each. This is a bad place to meet anyone unless you stipulate which floor. Good mixture of people though.
- Excellent pub!!! Staff was the friendliest of all the pubs we visited in Dublin and we visited a bunch. Great beer and great food! Staff made us laugh all night and remembered us when we returned. A MUST VISIT if you are in Dublin.

- This pub is great! There are several, small floors, each with a bar so you are guaranteed never to have to queue long for a pint. During the day, the pub is filled with interesting characters who are more than happy to have a chat to while away the hours. At night, it transforms into a meeting place for young and not-so-young alike.
- Only open in the past year or so, this place wants to be cool but just can't manage it. I want to like this place more as it brews its own beer. Hasn't seemed to find its niche despite its brewing abilities. I want to like it but I can't really.
- Further to my last just frequented while at home again in Dublin. The place has lost the "edge". The number of beers has been reduced and when I asked for one on the menu they had run out!!! No menus on the tables the outside needs a lick of paint. Very disappointed.
- Another large superpub looking to be the next "in" pub. Lacks atmosphere and charm. Frequented by a large non-Dublin crowd. Beer is overpriced, service poor. On the plus side, upstairs is cosy and has good views and may be ok for one to start the night. Overall though fairly ordinary. 5/10
- One of the Nicest Pubs we've been. Very nice food, very good selection of beers, not very cheap, but definitely worth to go for, very friendly staff and good live music in the evenings.
- People say go to Dublin and drink the Guinness, `YES` by all means do.
