- I was in Tonic at the weekend, had a great time in one of the best beer gardens in Dublin. Staff are generally very friendly and clientele are predominantly young. There is a great atmosphere and their cocktails are delicious..

- Was great when it was the missing swan but is even better now, lush decor and full of a respectful 20something crowd, very nice food also.

- The best alternative in Blackrock if you're looking for a late bar with music. A little more trendy than other offerings in the area but not overly so, like some spots in the city centre. Worth a look as the crowd is generally younger than most spots in Blackrock and the general atmosphere benefits as a result.

- No trip to Blackrock would be complete without a visit to Tonic. One of the best renovation jobs in years. Great interior. Staff are professional and friendly. Prices are very reasonable. Good selection of draught beer. Bar food is exceptional. But the best part is the Beer Garden at the back. Not suprisingly very busy at the week-ends.

- Formerly the Missing Swan. Tonic is a superb addition to Blackrocks Pub Scene. It is a large spacious bar on two levels with an excellent Beer Garden at the rear. Upstairs at the weekend attracts the younger crowd with the Late Twenty/Thirties crowd preferring to stay downstairs. Excellent restaurant attached too. The Staff are efficient and friendly. And for such a well run and expensive looking pub the prices are very reasonable.
