The Thingmote is located on Suffolk Street nearby to one
of the main shoppng streets, Grafton Street. It has a very
lively atmospehere with a young 'student-type' crowd.
It is open the normal pub hours. The pint is reasonably
priced for the city centre. The staff are friendly and
young. It can get quite cramped and if you're not there
early, expect to be left standing. It is a good pub
for a night out with your mates for some banter and
a few laughs.
Lively with lots of smoke. Not much room to stand around or mingle. Find your corner and stick to it. Caters obviously for the grunge set. If that's your gang then go. Go with the wind.
One of the first pubs we hit, very comfortable. We grabbed a couple of the seats by the window and just people watched. Close to the tourist center and some shopping.
The outside of this pub is not very inviting but once you are inside you escape the bustle of Grafton street and can have a quite pint. Also good if you get a seat at the window for looking out on the world. Young persons pub.
