- Ive been there for one time. I met Mr. Gaffney while he" keeps the fire burn". It was one of the most wonderful moments in my life!! I will alway remember. There was also a man called "PAUL". Does anybody know him. Or something about a poem on the wall....

- A great local pub although pints can be bad the odd time. great mix of ages and a great local hang out. Can be a pity about the day trippers on a good day in howth but by evening it gets back to the locals and the way it should be. Foods good and reasonable aswell. Would give K2 a miss though

- Lovely pub to sit outside on a summers day . Pints are average and the barstaff are friendly. K2 niteclub can get very stuffy if there is in excess of 100 people present , the pints are disgracefully bad in k2 but sat nite prices make up for this . Definatley a spot to visit but it is evident the doorstaff are inexperienced and quite on edge . A very local crowd on a fri nite and can get a mixed bunch on a sat nite

- If your idea of an Irish pub is a place where people of all ages and types go to escape for just a little while over a black and white creamy pint and a chat then The Summit Inn is the place for you. With friendly barstaff (always on hand with a good joke), quirky regulars, a warm fire in the winter and a spectacular aspect in the Summer, this pub is sadly underated. For me thats its secret. Now serving top notch grub.

- The Summit Inn, in my opinion, has much to offer, it caters for all ages, is great craic, pool table, breathtaking views from the beer garden (particularly enjoyable in the summer months). The staff are friendly, pints priced well, k2 at the back good fun at the weekend, great local pub! Well worth a visit!

- Given the excellent location you would think that this pub has a lot to offer, however the seats are uncomfortable and shabby and the doorstaff, well, they are never going to be nominated to join the diplomatic corps, in fact they are just plain rude and unprofessional, given all the other options in the area possibly best give this one a miss, unless on a sunny day, when you can sit out on the grass in comfort and not get harassed!
