- The Strand House doesn't appear very nice from the outside, but believe me it's a great little pub! The Guinness is lovely, the locals are scary lookin but sound and the staff like to have a laugh. A hidden gem!

- Dont Let the locality put you off, this is a great little pub. sometimes on sunday afternoon they put a DVD on the big screen.

- A quiet pub with an off-license up front, it attracts a crowd of regulars but first-time visitors won't feel out of place. It's a good place to start the evening.
