- this is a great spot. I'm a regular here and prefare it to lotsa other pubs. Me fella loves it swell all his mates are barred from other pubs but the bouncers here are cool. I get chatted up a good bit here too - what girl doesnt love that!

- Not my fav. pub in Swords! Myself and the lads go there before a nite out to get a few games of pool in! Stay on the beer if you are drinkin up stairs as theres is never a flow of Guiness! As for the rest - Foods good! Bar and Lounger = older crowd! The LOFT nite club is not bad

- The Star is a pub that I was first introduced to about 4 years ago, and have been to many times since. The bar has a nice sporting atmosphere and is a great place to watch the rugby, GAA or catch the latest tips for the horses! The lounge is bright, though lacks a bit of atmosphere, and the pool room upstairs is great, if your under 25 that is! The Guinness isn't the best I've tasted, it's not bad, but what the place lacks in Guinness is made up by its great selection of Irish whiskeys!
Overall, it's not a bad wee place to spend the evening, and the food menu is varied and excellent! I'd certainly drop in for a nip an a'hawf if I were passing by!
