- Excellent bar almost any day of the week. For north-siders this would be the equivalent of Quins the other side of the Liffey. They have a strong varied following both among the local student community and also a number of older locals. I've seen everyone from GAA stars to Ronny Drew to Packie Bonner in here and the Guinness never fails to dissapoint either.

- This is a great pub. No matter what day of the week its always buzzin' and a good laugh. the staff are rapid. downstairs does be kickin on a Sunday nite.

- Just off the Grand Canal, this beauty of a pub is grand for both eating and a pint. I spent many a night here just relaxing and many weekends partying with friends. Loved the food and the Smithwick's.
