This is a great place to go if you out and about in this neck of the woods, pints are clean and well poured and the staff are for the most part cheerful. Prices are starting to go up to the high side but average at moment.
Also in the last ten years they have included a snack bar on the side of the pub food is ok but not up to the standard of other more expensive places but they are not going for that market anyway its good beer food.
Two new bar girls there who should be seen and admired for their body work and bar work of course.
Over all i like this pub it has gotten a bit more upper class in the last few years but sure that can't be a bad thing.
I used to go here all the time with my mate when we were fishing at the weekend get some grub and a couple of pints into us before the trip home and discuss the one that got away great in the summer they have a beer garden just away from the nass road but the traffic noise can get a bit much which spoils it.
But over all not a bad place at all you should try it at least once.
