The archetypal "estate pub", this is nestled in between several housing estates on the far side of Swords. Not somewhere you would go out of your way to frequent, it's really only a haunt for locals. Lots (and I do mean LOTS) of kids at weekends and on summer days, not a place to go for a quiet pint during these times. That said, on autumn/winter evenings, a good spot to relax, the craic with the locals is good and the bar staff are very capable and know their regulars. The prices are fine, as cheap as you would expect and the pints are good.
Nothing special here, a nightmare during the summer weekends due to the fact that almost all the punters bring their children with them. In fact, it's like a creche at times (I kid you not) Not a whole lot going for it, now that it's 'sister' pub Annie Oakleys is no longer there.
