- The "Tragic" - as known to the locals - is an institution in these parts. It was one of the early venues for the Hothouse Flowers.
The Guinness was always consistently good. Boules in the beer garden in the summer, pints and the football on Sunday afternoons in winter, and an amazing atmosphere on Christmas Eves (which became so legendary in the 80s and 90s that this was one truly difficult pub to get into).

- This is mainly a local bar downstairs. You may not feel to comfortable down here. But upstairs is very good for private functions and live music. If you have a good band they will let you put a live gig on. The room is of a decent size. Also there is a large beer garden outside and is great in the summer for music and entertainment.
