From the outside, The Legal Eagle can seem quiet as you can imagine that it would be full of lawyers and solicitors having a couple of brandys inside while discussing their court cases of the day. Nothing could be further from the truth. As soon as you walk in the door the music grabs you. Their is a little dance floor as you enter and a live DJ (probably only at the weekends). The bar is long and clean. The pints are nice and the service is good. There is also a dart board at one end of the pub but perhaps that could get dangerous after a few pints though there were a couple of guys playing. There wasn't much of a crowd on the night in question, so if you want to have a night out with friends it is recommended.
At night, it is transformed into The Bar, a new music venue for Dublin.
Wandered into The Legal Eagle last Sunday, looking for quiet Sunday evening pint and discovered one of the nicest pubs we'd been to for ages. Live DJ, good music & great atmosphere. Defintely recommend it to friends
I was fortunate enough to frequent this pub following the RHCP gig last Saturday!(12/06/2004) Great vibe and a great time had by all, pints where nice and I may have made a few moves on the dance floor!
