The Isaac Butt is situated on Store Street opposite the Bus Ars station.
It is a lively pub with a good vibrant atmosphere. The barstaff are friendly
and the service is good. Pints are decently priced. Downstairs, you can usually
find a band playing (mainly original material) and there is usually a cover charge.
However if you remain at ground level you can still hear them. This is a good pub
for a couple of pints with friends or to catch a new band in.
This pub is wheelchair accessible.
A multi level pub, with steps and nooks and crannies all over the place. Let's get the bad stuff out of the way. On the second floor pub area, there are 2 urinals, one toilet for the guys, I hate to think what it's like for the ladies. However, it's friendly and the music is great. On Friday and Saturday night there is a Indie music club downstairs and Admission is free and open till 3am. Can't ask for more than that. Pretty good for live music too.
Very young crowd with a fun atmosphere. Friendly considering its size. Pints well priced, but bar is always packed. Toilets are less than to be desired, but what's to be expected seeing how busy, and the age of clientelle. Good music, and great hours.
