Spent a couple of evenings at The Hill and it just suited two ladeies who are a little older than they want to be. The landlord and barmen were just lovely and made us feel very welcome. Don't usually drink pints, but as my friend and I rarely get together and even more rarely, go to Dublin, just had to make an exception. The atmosphere was relaxed, friendly and easygoing and if you like football/sport there is a big screen and three other TVs. Would thoroughly recommend.
