1. I spent a summer living in Stoneybatter a few years back. This place became my second home (my first home for a brief stint)! The people were lovely, the pints were perfect and rarely paid for. Look for a man there with an incredible story about the night he slept in the same bed as Brendan Behan.... If I remember correctly, it was a favorite of Jack Kennedy's as well. Enjoy it for me until I make it back.

2. Good old fashioned boozer, with great pints, which are cheap to boot (�3.40 for a pint of the black stuff). Friendly bar staff and the locals will leave you alone to chat with yer mates. Not the type of place to go to if you want a lively night out, but great for a some banter.

3. I was working in ireland last year and i spent to much time in this bar with some friends. It is a great bar with great beer. The guys behind the bar were so friendly and hot. A big hello to L*** and P** the two brothers!!
