Description:
Casual Pub.
Review:
First-off the outside of this pub looks marvellous, it's really what you imagine a public house would have looked like back in the days of yore. As soon as you enter the floorplan opens up, there is a small 'library' on the right of the lounge (with actual books on the shelves!) as you enter and as you proceed onwards, you realise that there is lot of room this pub and because of this it should be fine getting a seat anytime of the day, anytime of the week. We proceeded to the bar upstairs and sat on what must be the tallest seats in the world and from this vantage point we could check out the whole upstairs bar area. The service in the pub was spot-on and the pints tasted great, in fact the only thing that did leave a sour taste was the price of the pints - lager coming in at a whopping 4.20 and this was about 8 on a Sunday evening! Having said this, the decor (the development of it is still on-going) is impressive and you can see where they are spending the money. All in all, this is an excellent spot to meet with friends and chill out in but the night might work out quite expensive.
