- I actually work in this pub and the majority of people I serve are only in their early twenties. the service is actually very good Louise, ur the only one that has complained! The pub is packed most nights.

- I have been going to this pub regularly with my friends for a number of years (We're now mostly in our late twenties and early thirties). While I would agree other peoples comments about it not being one of the 'maddest' pubs out there, we feel that is part of the charm. Its refreshing to go to a pub that doesn't feel like a 'cattle-market'. Excellent food and very good value (cheapest quarter bottle of wine I've found in Dublin!). I always find the staff friendly and helpful, particularly to tourists who regularly frequent the pub and are often looking for information on the Dalkey area.

- Very reasonable and delicious lunch, very well decorated and multi-levelled. Plenty of room, so it takes a lot to feel crowded here. Service is great too.

- not good for people under 30.if you are single, dont bother going. This is no place to pick up women. If you get too load,ie laughing, they tell you to be quiet.A good place for funeral receptions....

- I used to like this pub but have stopped going because the owner is so rude all the time. Nice pub but beware of the unfriendly service!
