The Clarendon is situated on the corner of Clarendon Street where
it joins Chatham Row. It is a nice cosy little pub with a friendly
atmosphere and a colour TV shows sports action (when there's a match
on). The staff are friendly and service is prompt. However, the pints
are quite expensive which does not make it ideal for a night out as it
will damage your pocket. On the other hand it is quiet and peaceful enough
for a chat so we'll let you decide if that's worth the extra few cents on
your pint. Best suited for a quick pint in a friendly atmosphere.
This is my local in town, I used to go there with my old workmates, and I continue to go any chance I get,it has lots of wee nooks and crannys, and they have a great selection of beers, including kopperberg, my fave cider/rocketfuel!! Food is also fantastic, and very reasonable.
The time I spent there was the best time I`ve spent in Dublin. Now I can`t wait to go back there and join that great atmosphere again :-) Kisses from Poland
