1. The Carpenter is a very nice establishment. It is well run,clean and the staff are very nice!..They have some great flat screen TV's for the football,at the same time its not a kicking saturday night spot!..It's great for a mid week pint and the beer garden is really nice on a sunny day. 4 out of 5!

2. This is a beautifully fitted establishment with acres of space and seating. They have a great carvery during the day. Toilets are clean, drink is good and staff are welcoming. Its a comfortable place to spend a nice evening. Could do with a bit of atmosphere to liven it up. Not bad would return to it.

3. This is a pub one must visit when in the area. Great food and drink in here. Service is excellent. Does a great carvery on Sundays. Very few pubs match up to the carpenter in the area.

4. The Carpenter is massive in size, yet still has a great cozy atmosphere. It's very clean and comfortable. The service is excellent- quick and attentive. Good food, and loads of it at a good price. The upstairs loft is nice and quiet. Good mixture of ages here. The definate pick if stayin local!

5. Beer Garden is excellent one of the best i've seen.Staff are alright but don't seem to like young people.
