Description:
Late Bar w/ Music
Review:
Situated on the corner of Aungier Street and Stephen Street, The Capitol Lounge is very much a new style pub with wooden floors, minimal decor. The pub itself is very spacious and ideal for a boogey to wind down the night. The staff are pleasant and offer good service. The price of a pint is slightly expensive (although it is a late bar - so it's to be expected???) and quality can be questioned at times. All in all, it's a good boozer to finish the night in with plenty of eye candy (for both sexes) to admire.

Public Reviews:
- Never gets really busy inside... have often been there after work on a friday and been the only ones in it, but don't let that put you off. Nice and spacious inside, prices aren't too bad, good bar staff and good tunes later in the evening. A good spot for a late drink after you've been chucked out of somewhere close by and a mention should go to the door staff who are a good laugh and don't power-trip like some in the vicinity. Well done, lads.

- Visited Ireland and came accross this late bar, really friendly bouncers, great music and staff and most importantly lots of fine young Irish women not to mention the drinks promotions that helped to lubricate the night

- This is a cool bar with the BEST strawberry margaritas EVER!! Excellent to relax in after a hard day's shopping. Music is good and not too loud AND the bouncers are FRIENDLY!

- One thing that I want to say about this place is that the Bouncers are very nice and friendly. They always say hello and hold the door for you. None of your usual arrogant, rough control freaks. Good music and staff are friendly. Only downside is could do with a bit more seats and maybe in need of some refurbishment. All in All I would give it 7/10.

- Yet another bar in Dublin. Certainly going for retro style. Crowd is a mix of yougish and not so yougish as it tries to find its niche. An interesting place that isn't exactly sure of what sort of crowd it wants or is getting. Promising though.
