Review: The Capital, known locally as Coffeys is a lot bigger inside than you would think from the oustide. It is situated on Emmet Road in Dublin and would make a good alternative to McDowells if you're in the area for a Pat's match or otherwise. The bar area is located on the left while there is ample seating on the right. Further on down the back there is a spacious open area as well as a 'stage' where (we were informed), bands have been known to play regularly. Having dropped in on Stephen's night, it was packed to the rafters but there was still room to manouvere. The service by the lounge staff was top notch and the drinks were fine. Probably best suited for a quiet night out with friends, we were impressed by it and hope to return soon. | ||
