Nice pub but lacks athmosphere. normally on weekends lights are blinding and tv is on. some of the acts here are dreadfull with the exception of fran meehan and strike two. food is normally good . this could be a great pub with very little effort just a few small improvements.
My hobbies for all things golf like took me out the main Ashbourne road to the Brock Inn for a game of pitch and putt. The check in area is in the bar and basically this is a hut for the pitch and putt folk to shelter from the rain. The decor is circa 1970 and you will probably find yourself stuck to the floor a few times and the smell of dust and whatever is quite unique. Considering its location its amazing it hasn't been snapped up for redevelopment, avoid at all costs unless you play pitch and putt because the course is quite good!
