Review:
The Belgard Entertainment Complex can be found just of the Belgard Road at the foot of Belgard Housing estate. This 'complex' has a bar, a lounge, a music bar and a niteclub not forgetting a snooker club although you cannot drink in the club. Each 'drinking' section is completely different from the other.
The bar is quiet and peaceful and a nice spot for a quiet drink while reading the paper or if you choose, watch the television.
The lounge area is large and spacious with plenty of seating although it has been known to fill rapidly on the weekend and on football days when live matches are shown on two big screens. Out the back of the pub there is a balcony area for smoking half of which is covered, half open which has plastic seating.
Lannigans is the music bar and operates at two times. First up, at the weekends, it opens around 7/8 and the crowd is mainly youths biding time until the niteclub opens. Then it closes at 11.30 (bar and all) and re-opens at 12.00 with 60's 70's and 80's music playing. You can wait in the pub while it closes and re-opens and it's quite a surreal site to see all the youngsters leave and head down to Cocos. It also hosts live trad music on Wednesday.
The prices in all 3 sections are a tad expensive, but the pints taste fine and the service is okay. It's a good spot for a night out with friends.

Public Reviews:
- As a former member of staff, I find the Belgard complex to be very entertaining!with a live band every friday and pub quizzes during the week! Also the night club is grand place to go if your looking to have a good night out with friends!Currently lannagins is closed! The snooker club has gotten better over the years and they now serve pints of heineken down their! Also the bookies is still going strong! The staff are extremely friendly and hospitable! So overall the Belgard complex is suitable for everyone over 18!As it has all your entertainment needs!Oh and the Guinness is out of this world! Thanks.

- This pub is very nice pub. It offers areas for all tastes and ages. I feel Danielle's review is a bit nasty. Admittedly there are groups of youngsters trying to look 21 but we all started at some stage. Does she think she has always been old looking?! Anyway, with regard to the pub, I have never seen any fights during the day or during matches and I drink there 5 or 6 evenings a week at times. The staff and management are extremely friendly and the pints are pretty good (with exception to the Guinness). As for the club, I don't think its the nicest, but I'm not a club fan myself and I guess different clubs will attract different age groups and tastes.
