On a recent trip to Dublin, I had the time of my life at Smyths. It wasn't so crowded you couldn't move, but there were enough people to make you feel like you were part of a scene. The bartender was attentive and friendly, and the patrons were all anxious to welcome the out of towners. We sat in the cosy area by the front window, and enjoyed perfect pint after perfect pint. On my next trip to Dublin, I expect to spend a great deal of time at Smyths.
