Review: Sheehans is situated on Chatham Row situated about 200 meters of Grafton Street. The pub itself is very cosy and on the Saturday afternoon that I dropped in, the atmosphere was relaxed and genial. I took a seat at the bar and ordered a pint and although the service was a bit slow, the pint tasted great. In fact the only sour taste was that the price of it was on the steep side (but name me a pub in the city centre that isn't!). The staff were pleasant and courteous. There was a television in the corner showing the day's football but it wasn't over-imposing and could easily be ignored. All in all, Sheehans is a fine place for a pint if you're looking for a drink in relaxing surroundings on a Saturday afternoon. |
