Nice pub clean good beer bright interior big seats and lots of space but have to agree with some of the previous reviews the staff are not the most courteous to be encountered which is a big let down for an otherwise good pub
Not a bad local lively on the weekends....Especially when there's music. Great customers and staff aren't too bad either. A good pint or dozen had here.
Well lets start with the good points - decor is good. It's well appointed and clean. The toilets are clean and the place has a well kept feel about it. The beer is fresh cold and nice, a bit pricey but no more the other pubs around here. But there is the one thing that spoils it all!
The bar staff in here must take classes in being ignorant they are very aggressive in their manner and they take their time when serving you. In one instance (of many) a friend of mines girlfriend went to the bar for drinks and came back crying because the bar man there shouted at her "I can't hear a single bloody word your saying" we could hear what he said very clearly in the bar and we were sitting all the way down the back of the lounge and it is a big pub!!!
So overall a nice pub but really the people who own this should review the staff because it is getting a name in the area for having the most ingnorant staff about the place.
I would have to echo the review given about this pub yes it has a nice clean interior. But I have to admit the staff in here are very rude and discourteous.
The Dundrum house or Ryan's as it is called a quiet pub where if you want to have a quiet night and have a laugh without shouting to your friends. There is ample room for sitting with friendly staff and this is one to go if you want a nice relaxing pub.
