Review: Formally known as Planet Murphys, Picturehouse is situated on Camden Street and is a big, big place. The downstairs bar area is mainly wooden in decor and when we dropped in on a Saturday afternoon was relatively empty. The Premiership was being shown on the TV in the corner and a mainly male based crowd were taking in the games tucking into their food - their was a reasonable choice on their food menu. The prices were okay and this transated to the pints as well. The staff were friendly and efficient. We took a quick look upstairs to find a a large spacious area with numerous pool tables and this had a lot more people in it than downstairs. The tables were well laid out and they did offer a private pool room for parties etc. We imagined that it would get lively at night and would be a good place to go for a get together with a group of friends.
