The Pemboke is a quiet big pub with a long bar with various upper and lower seating areas. It's busiest times are during the week at lunch time and after work as it caters for the vast offices in the surrounding area. Pints are expensive but service is very good. There are also televisions dotted around the bar in 'awkward' positions, awkward in that it's hard to find a good seat to watch a match. There was a relaxed atmosphere among the clientele and many seemed to be very happy enjoying a spot of grub (which was expensive) and a pint. All said it is good place for a night out and a chat with mates although if you're into partying, perhaps you should head elsewhere.
