- The Madhatter has returned to its former glory. The new managment are very welcoming and are doing their best to bring back the old mad hatter and lose the bad name it got from the old managment. Highly recomended for a quite weeknight drink or a lively weekend with a good dj

- The pub has recently been taken over by new management who are trying their best. However, you always get the feeling they are trying too hard. Nice bar with a great little beer garden at the back. The crowd can be mixed with very young students and old men sitting at bar which is good to see

- Over the last month this pub has lost the plot. And as a result it has now closed down. Not a great loss to the Pub scene in Blackrock, which still thankfully has some great watering holes.
