Description:
Casual Pub.
Review:
Liamm Walsh's pub is situated on Parkgate Street and is a grand little pub catering mainly for regulars and locals although saying this we did receive a warm welcome. The interior is a bit 'scruffy' looking but this adds to it's appeal. The pints were tasty and keenly priced and the service was good also. They also have a pool table at the back which was being played non-stop. There are TV's dotted around the pub and the night we were there they were showing the National Lottery programme Winning Streak. Myself and my drinking companions felt that this pub was like a home away from home for many of the regualars.

- I reckon this must be the best Irish pub in the world and I would like some decent pics of it. My dad was there in july and told me about it. I'm visiting some day

- The best damn pub on Parkgate St if not all of Ireland. Great drinks and great atmosphere make for an enjoyable evening. And service is great.

- This is one of Dublin's Best kept secrets. The atmosphere is fantastic, you can enjoy a quiet pint or engage in some friendly banter with the many regulars, it is a part of What Dublin is all about, The service is excellent and friendly and the Pint is out of this world, I have been to a lot of pubs in Dublin and I have not found many that can compete with this quiant authentic Dublin pub, It's not a trendy Hotspot, but if you're looking for the Dublin of old, then you've found it here , the Pint is probably one of the best around and at 3.30 a pint it's not overpriced, The customers are friendly and full of knowledge and trivia about Dublin, Liam Walsh's is a part of Dublin that has not changed with the hustle and bustle of city life, it's a laid back and friendly reminder of Dublin's better days

- I assume this is Liam Walshe from "The Furry Glen" fame, if it is, him and son Liam Walshe Jnr certainly do know how pubs should be run, other pub owners should definetly learn from here how it should be done! Customer satisfaction a friendly face a bit of craic and a nice pint have always been guaranteed. Keep up with the good work, and best of luck with it.
