Kennedys is located at the back gate of Trinity College (Lincoln Gate)
on Westland Row. On ground level you can find your typical Dublin Bar
with wooden furnishings and at night they play the latest chart music.
It does not have many seats so expect to stand unless you are
one of the lucky few. Downstairs has a dance area but some nights this
is hired out for private functions, although tables can be reseved upstairs
also for groups. It is open the regular pub hours every night. The staff are friendly,
the pint is reasonbly priced for the area and tastes good. You may enter this pub
to meet friends before heading on to another but beware it can suck you in and
before you know you've just spent a very enjoyable evening there.
I find the pub upstairs still to be traditional one but the clients are from the business' and colledge surrounding it. A quiet pint and good food can be had except on Friday and Saturday as it seems to be filled to the brim. I would say it is a good place to pick up a few contacts...... The Late Room is now called "The Underground" and Local & International musicians playing on Thurs to Sat. Not a bad spot at all.
Changed from a traditional pub to a modern one a few years back and caters for the students. Quite a busy place at the weekends and not somewhere to go for a quite pint of an evening.
