The Bar in the Irish Film Centre is on the left as you come out of the
tunnel entrance. You probably wouldn't want to go here on a mad night out
but if you happen to be passing on a lazy afternoon it is worth dropping
into for a pint. Service is cheerful and the pints are reasonably priced.
More often than not, it is frequented by cinema buffs catching a pint after
a showing.
As an avid film buff I found this centre a great wee gem and what's more you can watch a film and have a scotch all under the one roof. A nice location in the Temple Bar area it was a bit tricky to find...just look for the blue circular neon sign!! the bar is way at the back and serves anything a discerning celluloid freak would want. The service was good and there was a good mix of local and passing types there. They also serve food which looked typical pub style but alas I did not sample. If you want a libation with an "intelligent" crowd then this is the place! give it 7/10
