- Downeys is a great pub with lots of craic. The prices of the drinks are ok but I personally think they should lower them. Other than that I really enjoy relaxing with my friend.

- Personally I love this place. Guinness is brilliant and atmosphere is good. It most sertainly is a locals pub and its period decor may not appeal to everybody. It is certainly a friendly pub and if you'd prefer a great pint to modern decor then this place is for you.

- Downey's is a great pub for a laugh, there is always plenty of regulars in there and they are always very friendly, it is sometimes known as "An old man's pub"; but that is not the case! The Two bar men behind the bar are great craic. They are also fine looking! Especially "You know who I am talking about!"
