Foleys Bar is located on Merrion Row which is the road that
joins Stephens Green to Baggot Street. It's a small pub which
has a certain cosiness about it. It is good for a chat after
work but occasionally they do have a one man band to entertain
the crowd. It is open the regular pub hours. The pints and
spirits are reasonably priced. It is not a long walk to the bar
(but watch the step)
and the service is prompt. Foleys is a great pub for unwinding
in after a long day in the office.
Too expensive for me despite its location. A few solid barman but a few ignoramuses as well. If they managed it right, it could be a great boozer. Pity.
Lively most nights with some music thrown in for good measure. A pub that tries hard to attract punters and you can't fault it for that. Just doesn't inspire me.
Foleys on Baggot street is a nice pub and not too packed. It's a traditional Irish pub with lots of seats but the beer is expensive.
