Description:
Casual with Late Bar.
Review:
Farringtons was previously known as The Norseman and is situated in Temple Bar. It includes a fancy trendy and expensive upstairs area. Downstairs is more or less the same with the same tight squeeze and realxing atmosphere. The pints downstairs are actually cheaper than upstairs. This pub is well worth a visit and is very lively most nights (probably because it is in Temple Bar) but is usaully quieter than other pubs in the Temple Bar area. There is not much seating in the pub (on ground level) so you will end up standing more often than not. Recommended for a couple of pints as part of a night out on the town.
Because the pints are dearer upstairs it is usually empty(ish) but you're better of sticking to the downstairs as it is more livelier (unless of course you want to have an intimate talk with someone, actually upstairs is the sort of place you'd have a date in.

- Farringtons of Temple Bar is without a doubt the best pub in Temple Bar, Bar/Lounge & Door Staff are very friendly. The food is nice, Drink is Nicer, really meet some great people there. Quiet during the day, just right for a relaxing drink and chat, Weekend Nights are busy. Great Bar overall.

- Great pub for Trad music or a smooth pint. A little more relaxing than some of the pubs in Temple Bar. Great for people watching.

- After many years of living and drinking in dublin, this pub to me sums up the temple bar culture, lots of visitors, letting there hair down, and a load of dubliners having the craic, all together, one big happy crowd, by far the best pub for atmosphere in Temple Bar

- In the heart of temple bar. Not a bad place to go before you hit the clubs. Friendly bar staff. Nice Toilets and pints are good to. They serve food in the day time. Pretty expensive though, but tasty. Not much seating downstairs. Over 21s but if you go early youll get by the bouncers.

- Farringtons was such a surprise! My friend having the middle name of Farrington was really pleased with the hospitality extended to him and the generosity of the bartender to give him some remembrances that said Farringtons. Expect a fun Temple Bar experience with a thoughtful waiting staff!

- That was my first visit to Dublin and Farrington's gave me a perfect picture of how friendly Dubliners could be...A very special place, nice and polite staff, many interesting people there. Thank you all! You made my day! Special "thank you" to Liam. Aneta and her Swedish friend Sonja.

- Farringtons is a little bit more welcoming than the average temple bar. Food menu was adequate, pints were good, staff friendly and efficient. Generally a nice place to start off the night.
