d-two is situated on Harcourt Street close to the city centre of town and is a part of the Harcourt Hotel. The bar itself is well laid out, with the bar area in the centre surrounded by ample seating (and barstools). There is also a dancefloor at the end of the pub which gets busy as the end of the night as the crowd flocks up to enjoy the DJ sounds.
We dropped in on a HIP night and were impressed by the cheerful nature and excellent welcome we received from the staff as well as the service. The pints were fine and great value on the night (they are usually dearer). The atmosphere was nice and positive, just the thing you need on a night out.
Downstairs, there is a nigthclub which is an excellent spot to continue / finish off the night. The music was an eclectic mix of new and old which guaranteed something for all.
Basically, if you're looking for the complete night out under one roof, look no further than d-two.

- Really good on a Wednesday night for students. 5 euro in with a flyer. Nice crowd!! 3 deifferent areas, Downstairs is the main club bit with dancefloor etc. Upstairs more like a late bar feel to the place, then a really cool beer garden out the back complete with barbecue!

- Ah, a favourite haunt. Love the fact that the DJ play's bad 80's music between Beyonce and Justin! Lovely bouncers, always up for a chat and not afraid to throw you out if you misbehave. Good dancing and a podium if you're not shy!
