- I think Downeys is the best pub in Ballyer....fullstop. The laugh u can have in there and all the barmen are soundest fellas u can meet ...I'd definatley recommend anyone to go in cos wen you go in eveyone knows ur name its like cheers ..laura

- Famous for the best pint of the black stuff, Downey's is situated in the heart of Ballyfermot It's all very clean and a well-mannered boozer. There's plenty of room and on Fridays, there's Karaoke entertainment. Well worth stopping in for one!
