- Local it is and very...male. I lived in Donaghmede for 4 years and I never felt welcome at the Inn (although my husband did). Talk about heads turning when you entered! Very loud, brash, had to harass barstaff for service because they avoided eye contact as much as possible. Knuckle-heads at night. BUT drink cost less then many places. Still, I don't miss it.

- D inn (batcave) is a great local, its where everybody knows your name, a stranger would prob get the look of death if walked in but we soon warm to them, specialy the scoff, (donaghmede bike) just walk in ask for her and your sure to get ur leg over it,

- Well if you are in Donaghmede, you don't have much choice....but as Pubs go I've been in worse! All locals complain about it to some extent but it's not soooo bad. Local Pub with locals there - and exer's including myself when I visit. When you have visitors home from elsewhere, abroad especially - bring them along for a true cultural Donaghmede experience!

- The Bin is a class local. I've been away for 16 years now, but everytime I come home on a visit, I head straight to the Bin, where it feels as if I've never left. Still the best pint of the blackstuff anywhere.

- Brilliant for knocking a few beers with the old man while watching the footy in peace without my kids screaming at me

- The dusty bin (as it is known locally) is a great local. Place your bets upstairs, relax downstairs, and head home outside at the taxi rank at the door

- This is the place i always go when i get back from me various trips around ireland and futher a feild. i am always certain to find someone i know in the inn, if i want to or not. me and me mates always meet up there and i like the place its homely, but i dont know how friendly it is to an outsider. not that i care but i do hate to walk inta a place and the music stops, an ould fella at the bar looks ya strait in the eye and tuts and the local lads mumble sumtin ya cant quite hear but ya know its not a complement. so its not that bad but iv never seen a tuorist in there.

- The bin is a fantasic pub. It's full of locals and heads turn when a stranger walks in. It's very friendly and everyone knows everyone. A great atmosphere all round especially for the football matches.

- Da best pub in Dublin! A good place to meet the lads and knock a few beers back.Discrete toilets and handy to snort the charlie! Always a good place to go on Saturday night!

- Fantastic atmosphere situated in the Shopping Centre itself with quick&easy access. the friendly local is made up of a team of great hard-working staff and the drink is reasnably priced. Live entertainment every Saturday and Sunday in The Cellar bar with no cover charge! Live football and racing are shown matches on big screens so you will never have to miss an important match again! Looking for a great nite out? or even a quiet nite in...?then visit The Donaghmede Inn and you have nite to remember!

- I'd like to say D inn is probably the best thing since sliced bread! If I could compare it to a famous monument it would be blarney stone, cause your gonna get a kiss if ya wander in the door. The scoff is a legendary tale. Many a local has been scoffed, and my heart bleeds for them! But sure the inn is a great spot and I'd advise it to any red blooded male lookin for good beer and easy women!!!

- The inn (D inn) is a bit of a kip in all honesty. I'm a local and drink there often. Upstairs is not too bad but downstairs is well worth a visit - its like walking into the pub that time forgot - decor is so bad its funny although i have to say i've enjoyed lots of gigs downstairs - e.g Aslan and other bands. Put it this way the Donaghmede inn is a grand spot for a local pub when your not expecting too much but you wouldn't make a special trip to it from outside the area.

- This place stinks! It's over priced over staffed and over bearing. You'll do well to get a smile or even a clean bloody glass!! It's a disgrace, your paying an arm and a leg for the drink but at least a clean damn glass is to be expected!! They never show the bloody match you want to see, and the live music is terrible only for the coffin dodgers, you've been warned!

- I think this pub is the bee's! It is in fact clean!! and matches are always shown on the big screens! They have high profile bands playing there including ASLAN!!!! I thought I'd mention that detail. The staff are very friendly and the drink is very very good, I go there all the time and all my friends think it's a deadly pub. The staff will go out of their way to please you. You wont know till u try!

- Dusty Bin has done much re-decor to brighten up its image. Non-smoking induces me back, because it used to be sooo bad. However the small Gents is always messy and wet, tread carefully, warning tissue=grease proof paper. Loos are never fit to use, stick to wall-bowl. Prefer if little less open plan. Security are better then the dodgy bouncers looking for a fight (they had a few years ago).

- Donaghmede Inn has the advantage of very friendly locals and staff adding up to a very welcoming environment for all customers. The drink is averagely priced but is always spot on and well worth what you pay. Some of the recent music acts have been excellent including tribute bands like Queen and George Michael. I also enjoyed Aslan and hear Catch a Fire are playing soon. Some nights there's free music in the cellar bar, which is always a bit of a laugh.
