Description:
Late Bar with Music
Opened only a year ago Coyote Lounge is one of the most popular Clubs in Dublin. Its called "lounge" as it is a club for lounging as well as dancing. It's a pretty cool hangout that is both comfortable and stylish. The decor is very subtle Mediterranean colours, and lots of alcoves with comfy leather seats. The entire club is underground and it is deceptively large with a capacity for almost 1000 people.
Coyote features a wide range of excellent DJs who play everything from, soul, funk, house, RnB and dance. Each night is a "club night" from Wednesday to Sunday. Even on Sundays this club is buzzing with a great club night called Fresh'n'Funky, an RnB night which features top DJs from the UK and Ireland.
The bar serves a great selection of beers as well as a good wine list and a mind blowing cocktail selection.
Review:

The Coyote Lounge is situated on D'Olier Street and during the day people would easily walk by it without knowing it's there at all. One reason for this would be that the pub itself does not open until nine o'clock from Wednesday to Sunday. The other reason being that the entrance is basically just a door. Once you enter however, the place opens up into a large spacious seating area with two bars. The service at which is fine. The only gripe would be that the pints are very expensive but they did taste fine. All that said, if you're looking for a place with a cool party atmosphere to dance the night away in, Coyote is for you with the added bonus that the music only stops playing at 3am.

Public Reviews:
- I really like this club- great for a funky night out on a Sunday, but what I enjoy the most is the Saturday night music. The Djs in there are Fab and saturday night is not to be missed!! The decor of the place is great and really adds to the chilled out atmosphere. I definitely recommend a trip into this place and it must be on a Saturday!!

- Sunday night music is very good funky r&b has the place full as long as you don't go before at least 10. Decor is nice but could do with a drastic makeover so don't be too shocked when you first walk in. Drinks aren't cheap but the good music and DJ's make up for this.

- Ok, outside needs a little work. Bouncers are very friendly maybe a little 2 friendly. The interior is nice and the music is good but it's full of little people that can bite your ankles. Drink is pretty cheap for a club. Good if you've had a few drinks b4 u go in!

- This club has improved the last time I went to it, the bar staff are friendly and very efficient, you're not waiting for a drink for long. The crowd is bit older than before but not a place to go if you intend on sitting down, finding a seat is a pain and there is a strong draft. I don't like the Saturday DJ, he ruins the little amount of good songs that are played.

- I went to coyote on valentines night and had to queue for about 40mins in the freezing cold. I know it was busy but it was really cold! I think it's an ok place, thought it was too packed that night and full of very young people and legless girls! I didn't like the way they searched girls but not blokes! Very sexist!

- I really don't know what people find so great about this place. Been far more times then I would like. Found the music to be pretty disappointing. Bit of a strange crowd, and full of underage teenyboppers! Bit of a disappointment really, definitely one to avoid.

- I think this club used to be good when it first opened...not anymore. It's a very young crowd of drunk teenagers. Not a nice place for a night out.
