Chaplins is situated on Hawkins Street in the City Centre opposite
the Screen cinema so is ideal for a pint before or indeed after
a film. The floor space is quite small and there is little to none
standing room so if you don't get a seat forget it. It does have an
upstairs but this generally operates as a function room. It does
have a locuacious atmosphere with pub chats flying from all corners.
The staff are friendly as befits the homely atmosphere. This pub
is probably best suited as a meeting point or just for a quiet one
after work or shopping.
Great pub and the people that you encounter there are very friendly. Also the staff are great and alway have a word for you which can be hard to find in Dublin
This is the right pub 4 a quite pint in the evening. Perfect pint and nice people.
