This used to be one of the best pubs in Dublin when Liam was in charge, but since it was handed over to his son, it has gone downhill at an alarming rate. He's not a patch on his father, and ran all the regulars out. Shame...
Very nice staff but alot of the friendly faces seem to have disapeared. since the smoking ban the pub has gone down hill. the beer garden has a heater but never seems to have heat.theres no craic agus ceoil any more.
Buglers is a local pub full of local people. It's good crack if you're from the area as there are many characters to be found, particularly in the bar. Christmas eve is the best night here as all old residents of Ballyboden come home for Christmas and always back to Buglers. Worth a visit.
What can i say i work there....hee hee.Fun and friendly staff and customers good place to go any night of the week. p.s. hi to who ever reads this
Yes the bar is a great place to drink and have the craic. But since the smoking ban its seems to have lost some of its character. Lot of old faces gone for one reason or another. But all in all it's a great pub and the bar is a great place to meet down to earth people who usually live locally.
Hi, as an old employee of Buglers I would just like to say that in the seven years I worked in the pub I found the staff and customers very friendly and the soup and sambo' are second to none as they are made to order, its a great place to call into after a game of golf or on a wed/sat to do the lotto enjoy the pub it will be worth a visit you won't regret it I promise.
