1. The bouncers are friendly and the bar-service was good. They play good chart music at just the right volume and there is a lively atmosphere any night during the week. One major complaint I have is that the pub itself was filthy. The tables looked like they hadn't been cleaned in weeks. There was cigarette ashes all over the seats. Overall, it is a good pub to visit but be prepared to fork out for the dry-cleaning bill afterwards!

2. AVOID. This place used to be great but now it's gone seriously down the drain. Not a bad place to pop into if your shopping during the day but at the weekend it fills up with the worst kind of scum. More fights here than anything else. Go if you want but bring a gun.

1. Used to be a great pub-clean, good pints and nice crowd, until West opened up and they had no business left so they let anyone in. It was down hill from there. Unpleasant feeling in there, bad pints but bouncers OK. problem is there's nowhere decent to go in Blanch.
