Description:
Music with Late Bar.
Located in the very heart of Dublins left bank quarter, Temple Bar, Bobs is a very contemporary styled Irish Bar. Opened in 2000 after major refurbishment, Bobs is one of the most popular places in Temple Bar. You can head to Bobs for a comfortable bar, very friendly staff, great pints of Guinness and to top all that it's a late night every night for all those who keep late hours.
Covering three floors, Bobs has a designated dance floor which is very popular at weekends. Resident DJs play a mix of RnB, and laid back sounds early on in the evening building up to a livelier pace later in the night to give a nightclub atmosphere. Every Sunday from 7:30pm there is a live Irish Band and the admission is FREE.
For sports fans, you can catch all the big games in the main bar. Bobs can be booked for private parties and corporate functions. We serve a great snack menu from 4pm till 9pm Monday to Friday and all day Saturday and Sunday.
Review:
Bobs is situated in Temple Bar and is a lot bigger than it looks from the outside. The bar area covers 3 floors with bars located on the bottom and second levels. Service is swift and cheerful and the pints taste fine but slightly expensive. Bobs does open late at the weekend but the 8 cover charge may put you off. All in all, it's a good place to go if you like your music loud and your pub noisy. Best recommended for a night out with friends.
This pub is wheelchair accessible.

Public Reviews:
- Great spot in a great location. A lot of the time if we're out in town we'll wind up here. Good music and dancefloor too.

- I went to Bobs recently and had a fantastic night. The bar staff were the friendliest and most efficiant I've seen in Dublin and even though they were so busy they always had time for a bit of banter. Its recently been done up and looks great. Its only 5 admission after 11 compared to 15 at Club M and Fitsimons, and Bobs is a much more fun place than either of them! Great promotions too, 4 pint bottles of Tiger for the lads and 5 cocktails for the girls. I highly recommend this place, it has everything, sport on big screens, great food, great drink and great staff! I'll be back!

- I really liked this place. The staff were really nice and the door staff always polite. The pint is cheaper than most of templebar and they have great promotions like 4 for a pint bottle of Tiger beer.I'd go back in a heartbeat.

- I thought the place was great - better than most in Belfast! The doormen were lovely to me and a friend and there were absolutely no problems. The decor is superb ... please open one in Belfast City Centre!

- Yet another big noisy superpub in Temple Bar. Just what Dublin and the world needs. Not. They also charge between 8 and 12 to get into it too. This place bugged me. The bouncers or 'doormen' are ignorant bastards. It's big, loud, it's.....crap. Bad Bobs at least had some character and style about it. This dump has no redeeming features. Avoid. Or maybe I'm getting old....!

- Typical superpub with three floors, a lively crowd and good music. This is all good and well if of course you can get into it in the first place. The "bouncers" must be the most ignorant I've ever come across, they randomly stop people for no reason and give no reason for the refusal. Best thing to do is just keep on walking and try another pub.

- Bobs is a great laugh if you go there with a load of mates, just as long as you're not from the male variety, luckily I'm not, bouncers are a tad too strict on the lads. Tip:Go before you have to pay in, I think its before 9pm and lads.. wear a skirt!

- Great night. There was a motorbike burning its tyre in the downstairs bar. A real fun place. Very mixed crowd. Staff were fun and friendly. Our friend in a wheelchair was well looked after, wheelchair friendly toilets, and lift access to all floors. Prices not too bad. I'd love to go back!

- I really liked this pub, the staff are so friendly including the door staff and the prices were more palatable than Fitzsimons, Farringtons, The Temple Bar or some of the other pubs in Templebar. Lots and lots of decent birds around as well. I'm going to become a regular.

- Been to Dublin a couple of times, and both weekends we ended up at Bobs at some point during our stay. It's a lively crowd, good music (if you're into R'n'B/dance) and the bouncers were nothing but friendly to us. Only criticism is the fact that you're not allowed to take drinks onto the dancefloor, meaning you have to down all your drinks everytime you want to dance - very annoying! Other than that, a fantastic night out
