- Stay away from this pub I want it for myself! Really cool unpretentious place, great staff and pints. Think I'll head down there now in fact.......

- Alright pub if you going out for a few pints with friends. Bar staff are good, drink not too expensive. But once someone opens either of the toilet door you are hit with this over powering smell of you know what. Went two other times and again the smell was stomach turning. Haven't gone back since and don't intend too.

- I go to Anseo most weekends and really like, it can get a little crowded on Saturday nights tho. I went in last Sunday night and a few Sunday nights b4 as I really like the music the DJ plays, and it dosen't feel like the end of the weekend so much

- Formerly known as 'Cons bar', Anseo is quite a find. With 'Thomas house' under renovation Anseo seems to have picked up where they left off. Young funky crowd mixed with locals supping pints stout. 'Monkey Tennis' DJs have taken over the decks and it makes for a lively night out, with everything from Kylie to Dolly Parton to Kraftwerk. It tends to be fairly packed but the atmosphere and reasonably priced pints (for this area of town) more than make up for it.
