The Bronx was created in 1899 in the Waldrof Astoria after
a customer asked for something different drink - the barman
mixed up the Bronx. It is named after the Bronx Zoo because
the barman had visited there on the day he made it and seen
all the animals. After his customers said they had seen
animails too - after too many drinks he decided to name it
after the zoo.
It's a very relaxing cocktail and will refresh you and who
knows after too many you too may see the Bronx Zoo animals.
