Description: The Rags all met while playing in different bands on the Dublin circuit. Since getting together they have gained a reputation as one of the city's most exciting live bands, winning the first round of the Garagelands search for "Dublin's Best Band" and attracting large crowds in the process.
The Rags are made up of: Danny (Vocals), Ciaran (Vocals and Guitar), Dermo (Drums), Ledge (Samples), Baz (Guitar) and Karl (Bass). Their first demo was recently reviewed in Hot Press by Jackie Hayden, who wrote: "Excellent...The Rags deal in a sturdy sound and fashion good performances". At the moment the Rags are planning their first Irish Tour which will include the college circuit and some major venues.
