Big Daddy & Red Hot Java @ J.J. Smyth's
Though a bit road weary after flying from the States and then immediately performing 5 shows in 5 days, Big Daddy & Red Hot Java were STILL sizzling hot! Their Blues is not pure traditional Blues; it's mixed with Soul, Funk, R&B, Jazz and Hip Hop, but very much Blues. They did a tight 2 hour show featuring mostly orginal tunes for a packed house, and everyone was pleased. They are the real deal! I hope to hear them them again either in Ireland or in the States.
